We Are Hiring

Spicy Horse Games is the largest independent Western game development studio in Shanghai, China. Our projects and design style have attracted talented developers from all over the world. And our motivated, well-managed teams have delivered a unique collection of games including “American McGee’s Grimm” (PC) and “Alice: Madness Returns” (PC, PS3, 360). Founded in 2006 and investor funded since 2011, the studio’s development efforts are now focused on advance-casual, free-to-play online games built using Unity3D and delivered to social-gaming platforms worldwide.

Our studio places high value on attitude, personality, ability to learn, passion and drive. These things are often more important to us than direct experience. Spicy Horse maintains a highly functional work environment and we’re dedicated to high quality of life for our all of teammates. We don’t tolerate jerks, bullies or a-holes. If you think you might be one, save everyone the trouble and jump under the nearest bus.

Compensation is local standard+. No “expat pay scale” here.
Benefits/insurance packages are above the standard or government required levels.

All positions are in Shanghai, China – unless otherwise stated.

We’re always happy to hear from people interested in joining the studio – so even if you don’t see your particular specialty listed below, feel free to reach out and let us know how you might contribute to making our studio and games better.
