American McGee has been making games since the original Doom. The
veteran game designer moved to Shanghai a few years ago and set up a
new studio,
Spicy Horse.
With his first foray into episodic games – Gametap’s Grimm – a success,
he’s returning to Wonderland with a new Alice game for Electronic Arts.
McGee took some time to talk about his new games, the future of
videogame distribution and why Shanghai was the right choice for him in
